Description:
User can move the position of address objects manually on the map. The position was determined automatically as part of post geocoding.
If user change an address in the data table, the position of the address will be recalculated.
To move addresses back to their original positions, user must change a value in one of the fields: Location, Street or House number.
Possible reasons for moving a reference point manually include:
The labelling for an object covers an object below it. Since information such as labels, symbols or diagrams are arranged and displayed on the reference point, you can correct this problem by moving the reference point.
During geocoding, a point on the map could not be determined precisely enough. This may be the case, for example, if address data is not complete.
By moving objects or reference points, you change the coordinates, but do not change the original address data, which is still displayed in the data table.
To move a reference point, proceed as follows:
- Select one object in the selected layer.
Click on move reference point button.
Click the location on the map to which you wish to move the selected address.
- Click 'OK' button in the confirmation pop up - 'The selected object will be moved to the new location'.
