Object Filter

Description:

The object filter lets you control the visibility of objects in the map. You can hide objects you do not need.

 User can either hide the selected or non-selected objects of a layer.

When you hide the objects of a planning layer, you can also choose to hide the associated objects of the base layer using the option Include selected objects and their associated objects. 

Hiding/Showing objects

To switch between hiding and showing objects, proceed as follows:

1. The object filter can be accessed by clicking on  button.

   

   The object filter for map objects contained in the current view appears.

   
   

2. First, decide whether you want to hide selected or not selected objects.

3. In the selection box Layer to filter choose the layer whose objects are to be hidden. Information on the currently visible and selected objects of the active layer is displayed underneath the selection box.

4. Select the desired objects on the map or in the data table.

5. Activate the Option Include selected objects and their associated objects, if all objects associated with the selected objects are to be hidden or shown again.

6. If you want to hide the selected objects, click Hide selected objects.

7. If you want to hide all objects except for the selected objects, click Show only selected objects.

8. With Display all map objects all objects will be shown again.

   Save and access filter settings

   If you often have to show and hide the same objects in your project, it is worth saving this selection.

   This filter is then available in the whole of the project and can be used to quickly display a certain selection of data.

   

Steps to save the object filter settings

1. Make the desired filter settings.

2. Enter a name in the field Filter.

3. Click on Save button.

   

   Filter settings have now been saved and are shown in the field Saved filters.

To access saved filter settings, proceed as follows:

1. Open object filter pop up.

2. Select the desired filter.

3. Click on open  button, to activate the filter settings.
   

         With delete button user can delete filter settings.
