Labelling

Description:

The label consists of one or more data fields, which can select from the layer's data tables.

User can add label and tool tip for address, area, and flow of goods.

There are two options available under labeling

Tooltip :- Tooltip is displayed on mouse over.

Label:- A label is permanently displayed for each object on a layer.

To add label or tooltip, proceed as follows : -

1. Click on <Map editor settings> button in the dashboard.

2. Click on <Addon Settings> button.

3. Click on <Add> button .

4. Select the required layer.

5. Select Labelling in the Addon list.

6. Click on <Next> button.The setting options for labels appear.

7. On the field selection tab, select labeling type - Label/tooltip.

8. In the table and field selection area, you can include the fields by tick the checkbox. You can use the remove button to clear already added fields.

9. In the table below, you can choose whether you want to display the field name in addition to the field contents.

10. If required, change the field name by clicking the Visible field name field and enter a proper name.

11. Click on display tab.

12. In the Display area, set the text, font, text alignment, background, borders and separator lines.

13. In the Drawing options area, define where the label is to be placed.

14. Show labeling up to (km) defines the map scale from which the label is displayed or hidden.

15. Click on <Save> button.
