Post Geocoding

User can post-geocode, non-geocoded data records directly after importing them.

In address and flow of goods import, a post-geocoding button is showing after importing.

On click on this button, post geocoding window is opened.

Post geocoding can be also done in the Manage system layer.

There are Two options for post geocoding

1. Open Manage system layer pop up by

Click on menu bar --> Click on <System layer> menu → Select Manage System Layer

2. Select a layer → Click on <post geocoding> button.

3. Displaying a list of unidentified addresses

4. Set geocoding properties by click on <properties> button.

5. Select the option Manual post-geocoding or automatic post geocoding .

In manual post-geocoding, you can view and geocode every single data record that has not been geocoded and the list of matches.

This opens the Geocoding window and shows the first data record whose address has not been geocoded.

In the map window on the right, showing all map points according to the searched result.

Select one result on the search result → Change the location of the points with the help of the mouse.

Repeat geocoding until all data records have been geocoded.

Functionalities of icons

:- Shows the previous non-geocoded data record.

:- Shows the next non-geocoded data record.

:- Searches for new matches according to the mapping parameters

:- Geocodes the data record currently displayed and shows the next non-geocoded data record.

Automatic geocoding is performed after an import.

The steps for doing automatic post geocoding are

1.Click on <Automatic post geocode> button in list of unidentified addresses pop up..

2. Adjust mapping parameters in properties pop up or you can directly adjust in automatic post geocoding screen.

3. Set/change required mapping parameters.

4. Select geocoding quality.

5. Select Geocode Mode (All or Non geocoded).

6. Click on <Geocode> button.
