Description
This feature lets you select specific objects within a certain radius.
For a radius selection, you need to draw a circle around a specific object at the source layer.
All objects at target layer that are within this radius are selected.
If the desired objects are not visible on the map, you need to zoom into the map until they are displayed.
To do radius selection proceeds as follows
1. Open radius selection by, Click on menu → Click on <data Analysis> Menu → Click on <Radius selection>.
2.In the Select layers and objects area, original layer selection box, select the layer containing the object around which you will be drawing a radius.
3. Select an individual object from the original layer or a data record from the data table.
4. In the calculation area, select Distance criterion

| Time (in minutes) | Calculations are based on a detailed road network and the selected vehicle type. |

Calculations are based on a detailed road network and the costs of the selected vehicle type. Each vehicle type can cause costs per time unit, per route and per journey. No costs exist by default; the cost result is thus EUR 0. Define the costs per vehicle type manually |
5. Enter the desired value in the Maximum value field.
The maximum value must be greater than 0 and lie within the map border.
6. You can optionally output the results as a results table in addition to visualizing them on the map.
In the Results output area enable the option 'Create table with closest objects'
7. In the Table size field, enter the number of objects that a results table can contain.
8. In the Results table field, select an existing table, or create a new table.
9. Click on <Calculate> button.
You will find the results table with the target layer.
