Description
You can use this function to determine the distances between objects at planning layer and base layer.
Using Distance calculation user can visualize the distances between new location and allocated addresses.
For calculate distance, proceeds as follows:-
1. User can access calculate distance by
Click on menu → Click on <Data analysis> → Select <Calculate Distance>.
2. In layer and object selection area, select desired planning layer.
3. If the selected layer is already linked to a base layer, the base layer is automatically displayed in the next field.
4. Select the desired objects. There are 2 options for this:

| Include all objects of both layers | This considers all the objects of planning layer and base layer |
| Include selected objects of both layers | This considers only the selected objects of planning layer and base layer |
5. In the Calculation area, select the desired distance criterion.

6. In the Calculation area, select the method for determining the distances
| Element | Description |
|---|---|
| Closest planning object | calculates the distances between the planning objects and all closest base objects. |
| Planning object allocated | calculates the distances between the planning objects and all allocated base objects. |
7. In the Results table field, select an existing table, or create a new table.
8. Click on <Calculate> button.
