Description
This function lets you determine the areas in which your addresses lie.
The areas calculated in this way are written to the data table in an address layer.
User can specify whether to create a new field, overwrite an existing field, or supplement an existing field.
In this way, for example, it is possible to include the district number or the Federal State in your address lists.
To do determine area allocation to addresses, proceed as follows
1. Open Determine Area Allocation to addresses by,
Click on menu → Click on Menu → Select .
2. In the Select layers and objects area, area layer selection box, select the layer whose sales area you want to determine.
In the Select layers and objects area, address layer selection box, select a layer to determine the sales areas for its addresses.
3. In the Results output area, Select results field.
4. Either select an existing field that will be overwritten, or click <Create new field>.
5. After selecting Create new field, type a name in the 'New field name' field.
6. If you have selected an existing field, specify whether to overwrite the field.
7. Confirm by pressing <Calculate>.
