Description
You can use the coverage calculation feature to determine the distribution of detail data at the base layer to the corresponding objects at the planning layer.
For example, you may have planned new sales areas for your locations on the basis of administrative districts.
You can use coverage calculation to visualize how the population is distributed within an area near your company location and how many percent of the total population live within a radius of 100 km, 150 km or 200 km from your location.
User can determine the coverage for addresses only.
For calculate coverage, proceeds as follows:-
1. User can access calculate coverage by
Click on menu → Click on <data analysis> → Select <Calculate Coverage>.
2. In layer and object selection area, select desired planning layer.
If the selected layer is already linked to a base layer, the base layer is automatically displayed in the next field.
3. In the Calculation area, select potential value.
Any numerical field in the base layer can be used as a potential value.
4. In the calculation area, select Distance criterion

5. Define the number of intervals.
6. Define the start value for the first interval and the width of the intervals.
Define the number of intervals. You can specify up to 10 separate stages. Then define the start value for the first interval and the width of the following intervals.
7. In the Results table field, select an existing table, or create a new table.
You will find the results table in the tables at the planning layer.
8. Click on <Calculate> button.
